The face behind the camera...

Hi there! I'm so glad you are here! If you don't know already, my name is Phoebe and I am here to tell you just a little bit about the face behind the camera....

To start from the very beginning, I was born and raised in the small quaint town of Sterling, Colorado up until the age of 8. In 2010, my family uprooted and moved to Missouri when my dad accepted a job as a full time worship leader at a church in Salem, MO.

Fast forward a few years to the ripe age of 13... I met my now husband, Thomas. We have been inseparable since the day we met. We married at the age of 19 on October 2, 2021. Best. Day. Ever! He has been my biggest fan through my photography journey and is always willing and ready to carry my camera bag or take videos for my socials while I capture beautiful pictures of all you lovely folks!

Now that you got a little bit of a personal background on me, let's dive into how I started on this journey...

I graduated with the class of 2020 and I had no clue where life was taking me or what career I wanted to pursue. Everyone around me was going to college. Everyone else seemed to have it figured out... So, after lots of prayer, I got clear confirmation from God that college just wasn't my calling and that was ok.

Through all my soul searching, the one thing that I became absolutely, 100% positive about is that my ultimate goal in life is to become a mother and stay at home with my babies. With that being said, I knew that whatever career I pursued would need to be something I could do from home and make my own schedule so that my family could come first.

Photography is something that I have always admired. My dad is a photographer and has done weddings, events, families, engagements, senior sessions, and all that good stuff. Even from a young age, there were times that he would let me tag along and take a few pictures myself. As I've gotten older I have always enjoyed admiring other photographer's work and all the different styles that each of them excel at and are known for.

After lots of encouragement from my family and friends and great advice from a friend and fellow photographer of mine, I made the jump and started my business. Now, I am building a career that I am passionate about and that will also allow me to stay home and build a family one day. I would love to work with you and help you capture moments in your life that you will be able to relive forever and ever.

With love,

Phoebe
